Refund Policy
How refunds work when you purchase through manufacturer or distributor partners.
1. Astrabotics does not process payments
Astrabotics is an information and marketplace platform. We do not currently sell robots directly and we do not process customer payments on the platform. All purchases, deposits and payments are handled directly between you and the manufacturer or its authorized distributor.
2. Manufacturer refund policies
Refund eligibility, return windows and restocking fees are set by each manufacturer or distributor. These policies vary significantly between companies and product categories. We recommend reviewing the manufacturer's official refund and return policy before completing any purchase.
3. Quote requests and preorders
Quote requests, preorder interest submissions and waitlist signups made through Astrabotics are expressions of interest. Because no payment is collected by Astrabotics for these actions, there is no refund to issue from Astrabotics.
4. If a dispute arises
If you experience a payment or refund issue with a manufacturer or distributor, we encourage you to contact them directly using the official channels listed on their product page. If you believe a manufacturer listed on Astrabotics is acting in bad faith, please report it to us at legal@astrabotics.ch. We review all reports and may remove listings that violate our trust standards.
5. Chargebacks
If you paid a manufacturer or distributor and believe you are entitled to a refund under their policy or applicable law, you retain all rights available to you under your payment provider's dispute process and the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.
6. Service fees
Astrabotics does not currently charge service fees, commissions or membership fees to buyers. Should this change in the future, any applicable refund policy for those fees will be published here.
